Congratulations to Cindy Jones & River Road Middle School!

We are beyond excited to share that Cindy Jones, Counselor at River Road Middle School, has been named a Gold Prize winner in Hilltop Securities’ annual Hilltop Hunt, earning $10,000 for River Road Middle School and $300 for a student pizza party! 🎊🍕

Mrs. Jones participated in the Hilltop Hunt. The Hilltop Hunt is an online scavenger hunt that takes place on World Teachers’ Day on Oct. 5 and lasts for ten business days. During that time, educators and their students work to follow the tracks of Mo the Buffalo, Hilltop Securities’ mascot, as he visits landmarks across Texas. Teachers can work with students to figure out the clues to Mo’s whereabouts and answer riddles to determine his location. By answering the riddles correctly, contestants are entered into a drawing for prizes. Through this initiative, Hilltop Securities is giving back to public education and recognizing outstanding educators who make a difference in the lives of their students every day.

Representatives from Hilltop Securities, a full-service municipal investment bank and wealth advisory firm, along with their mascot Mo the Buffalo, honored Mrs. Jones as being one of five educators statewide selected as a Gold Prize winner. Today, they visited River Road Middle School to present Mrs. Jones with a check.
